Schedule of Events July September 2008
Please find enclosed the July to September schedule. We hope there is something to interest everyone in the coming months. If you have any suggestions for future events we would be very happy to hear from you.
Thank you to our show jumping team of Mel Hough, Becky Snell, and Nigel Platt who competed on behalf of the Club at Rugby Riding Club on 18th May. Good luck to our members who will be competing in the Area 5 qualifiers in the next few weeks.
If you would like to be on any of the teams then please contact the team organisers who will be very happy to hear from you! Please remember your horses flu vaccinations must be up to date for the Area 5 Qualifiers.
If you are interested in attending any of the events on the schedule then either ring the organiser of the event or return the reply slips at the end of the schedule. We look forward to seeing you out and about.
We are hoping to organise a trip to the Horse of the Year Show at the NEC (8th 12th October) this year. Ticket prices range from £24.50 to £54.50 but there are discounts available for groups of 12 or more. Please could you contact Helen Woolfenden by 31st July 2008 to indicate your interest and which evening you would prefer.
(Please note no dogs are allowed at Fosters Farm unless they are left in your vehicle sorry for any convenience)

Members friends are welcome to participate in any of the riding events for an additional charge of £5.00, which will be added to the price, however members have priority in reserving a place at the events.

Sunday 13th Area 5 Horse Trials Qualifier at Solihull Riding Club. Novice, Intermediate & Open Please contact Lucy Jackson for further details
Wednesday Flatwork clinic with Jo Winfield 16th Jo will use flatwork/polework to help improve your position. At Fosters Farm, Ullenhall. Groups of 2 or 3 approx 1 hour lesson. 6.30 p.m. The cost is £15 per person. All abilities welcome. Please contact Rachel Tomlin by Wednesday 9th July to book your place.

Sunday 27th Area 5 Dressage at Olney Grounds Riding Club Please contact Becky Snell if you are interested in competing. Classes range from Prelim to Medium.

Saturday 9th Dressage clinic with Milly Shand, British Dressage Trainer 9 a.m. At Fosters Farm, Ullenhall. Lessons will be 45 mins and the subsidised lessons will cost £20 per person. Saturday 23rd Dressage to Music Qualifier at the National Agricultural Centre
Sunday 24th Area 5 Show Jumping at National Agricultural Centre, Stoneleigh Please contact Mel Hough if you would like to compete there will be Novice (26/29), Intermediate (3/33) & Open classes.
Sunday 31st UK Chasers Ride at Offchurch Bury 11 a.m. Please contact Jane Williams if you would like to join us. The course is approximately 8 miles. Jumps are optional.

Sunday 14th Treasure Hunt at Quarry Farm, Rowington Green, Rowington Further details and schedule to follow.
